Gonerby started the Season as they finished the previous one in fine form running out 18 - 0 winners a score which could have been doubled had we taken our shooting boots !!

Croxton contributed to a good game of football in the first half but tired in the second period and Gonerby ran riot with the goals spread through nearly the entire team with Ryan playing outfield in the second half grabbing himself a hatrick well done lads

Croxton came to grantham still smarting from the previous game with Gonerby on there mind but Gonerby were 3 up within the first 5 minutes.Croxton then dug in and had a real go to get back into the game but as they pored forward go0nerby took advantage of the space and punished them with some very good finishing Croxton did have a little spell of presure in which they scored two goals but this fired up the Blues to go on and score a bagful with the game ending 16 - 2.

well done lads and also to Croxton who are a top bunch of lads.

Result 4 - 8

Scorers

Gonerby Played Radcliffe in a so called friendly match which ended in a kicking fest by the Nottingham side.

with the first half quite close Radcliffe shaded it with Gonerby giving 100%

It was a different affair in the second half with Radcliffe resorting to a very different approach to the game one which can only be descibed as disgraceful ending with several of our players hurt and a Radcliffe player red carded.

Radcliffe ran out winners but if thats how they want to play Football the Victory was ours for playing the game in the manner it is meant to be played in Hard but fair.

Needless to say we wont be going to Nottingham for a return match.

well donre lads you made us all proud by the way you all conducted yourselves.

Gonerby took to the field after nearly a month without a game and ran out 12-0 Winners a spirited Bottersford side were taken apart by a slugish Gonerby side who struggled to get there passing game together for any length of time.

Gonerby played well in patches and eventually wore down the opposition there were goals for the taking at either end with Gonerby wasting a dozen or more scoring opportunities which was very disappointing.

Ryan the keeper had an excellent game making several saves in one on one situations, well done.

Lets hope we are up for our next match and we remember our shooting boots Haha

Croxton sensed it was to be there day and were bouyed up at having two players more. Gonerby came out of the traps quickly and immediately put Croxton under pressure and scored 4 goals in the first half but it should of been at least 10. Blues started the second half as they did the first and scored within a few minutes of the restart and then bossed the rest of the game running out 11 - 1 winners. Croxton scored by way of a penalty which was celebrated well by the scorer. well done lads you were all BRILLIANT and Andy and myself are very proud of you all.

Bottesford arrived with revenge in mind as the Blues had battered them 12-0 in the last encounter. they started the brighter side and blues looked a bit off there game.

Luke got the first goal which spurred blues on and Ash followed up with a second before Bottesford scored after a good spell of there own.

The sides went in at half time with the score at 2 - 1, the second half started with Luke scoring for the blues, but Bottesford would not roll over and came back with there second.

Blues seemed to be labouring a bit but after a great passage of play Jacob scored a belter to make the game 4 - 2 Bottesford didnt trouble the home side after that and that was to be the final score well done lads.

On a warm night up at the Meres both sides took to the field in pursuit of the Ggrantham Youth Cup.

Both sides started well but cancelled each other out all over the pitch.

Zack got injured early on and we had to change our formation slightly, Blues then got into there stride and started to create some good chances through Liam who was running Bottesford defence ragged.

As half time approached Blues had started to gain the upper hand but the teams went in all square at 0 - 0

The second half started brightly with zack recovered from his bang on the head, taking his place in centre midfield with Ash Blues started to look dangerous and were soon on top with some good football being played down both flanks.

after some good pressure Danny Mole got the first Goal which opened the game up as Bottesford searched for an equalizer But Blues kept up there excellent season by pushing forward and getting the second and killer Goal which was scored by our Man of the Match Liam.

As the referee blew for full time the cheers went up from our supporters and we had won the cup for the second year in a row, a very proud moment for Andy and Myself.

As the boys went up to collect the Cup Captain Thomas Liddiard who was out injured for the game collected the Cup with Zack who captained the side for the game.

A great gesture from the team to allow thomas to do this, but that is the spirit of our team all for one and one for all

Well done lads we are very proud of you, lets finish off the season in style and take the Championship as well !!!!!
